Buho Natural 1 1/4
13gsm natural, 1 1/4. Thin enough to disappear when it burns, which is the only thing a paper has to do.

The ones we keep in every jacket.
Rolling papers from three makers: seven papers in the sizes people actually use: 1 1/4, king size slim and No1 regular. RAW makes its papers unrefined and unbleached, and the organic king size slim is hemp. OCB has made paper in France since 1918. The Premium is the one other papers get compared to, and the X-Pert is thinner still. Buho goes ultra-thin at 13 gsm, with no additives.
How to choose. Thinner paper burns slower and tastes of less. Unbleached paper is brown because nobody bleached it, not because it is rough. King size slim is 110 mm long. 1 1/4 is 78 mm.
All seven are sold out while we wait for single booklets. Our supplier sells these only in trade boxes, and we would rather show no price than charge you for fifty booklets. Prices go up the day single booklets arrive.

Size is the first choice and the easiest. A 1 1/4 is 78 mm long, the everyday paper. King size slim is 110 mm and narrower than a full king size, so you get length without a wall of paper. No1 regular is the short single-wide format.
If you roll one size already, stay with it: your filters fit. If you are choosing for the first time, 1 1/4 is the safe start.

Unbleached rolling papers are brown because nobody took the colour out. They are not rougher and they do not taste of cardboard. RAW and Buho Natural are unbleached.
White papers are whitened during manufacture. Buho Classic and OCB Premium are white. Pick on taste and habit; both burn cleanly when the paper is thin.
gsm is grams per square metre. Lower is thinner. Buho Natural is 13 gsm, at the thin end of what is made. Thinner paper burns slower and leaves less paper taste.
Thin paper rewards a lighter hand. If you tear papers when you roll tight, start with OCB Premium, then move thinner.
Paper fibre changes how a sheet feels and how strong it is at a given thickness. Hemp fibre is long and strong, which is why RAW's Organic Hemp can be thin and still hold a crease. Wood pulp papers are the most common. We do not stock rice papers yet.
King size slim papers are 110 mm long and cut narrower than a full king size. Three of ours are king size slim: RAW Classic, RAW Organic Hemp and Buho Natural. All three take a 6.4 mm slim filter, such as Hybrid 6.4 mm.
